Amazon Accelerate 2024 took place in person in Seattle and virtually from September 17 to 19. During the conference, we announced the launch of multiple new products for Amazon selling partners. See the highlights below.

Supply Chain by Amazon fully managed solution

Amazon has launched a fully managed, end-to-end Supply Chain by Amazon solution for sellers, unlocking faster delivery speeds that drive an average of 20% higher sales conversion. Our fully managed solution also optimizes cash flow and reduces supply chain complexity.

To use our new supply chain solution, sellers simply state what they want to ship and where and when to pick up. We handle the rest and strategically place the right inventory in fulfillment centers across the country to drive immediate sales. Sellers’ other inventory is stored at ultra-low cost with Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD).

Our advanced machine-learning technology continuously optimizes sellers’ fulfillment strategies to maximize their sales and cash flow. And it’s an exceptional value—earning sellers a 25% discount on AWD storage fees, plus 15% off transportation.

Buy with Prime and PayPal

For brands integrating Buy with Prime using APIs, PayPal is now available at checkout after shoppers log in to their Amazon account. Starting next year, Prime members will also be able to perform a one-time link of their Amazon account to their PayPal account so that Prime free, fast shipping benefits are available automatically whenever they use PayPal.

Advanced audience segmentation for Brand Tailored Promotions

Brand Tailored Promotions let brands create promotional codes to incentivize high-intent customers to make a purchase. Customers can find these promotions on search pages, product detail pages, and brand storefronts.

We’ve now enhanced Brand Tailored Promotions to enable more focused marketing campaigns. This update includes:

  • Goal-based audience creation: Select goals like new customer acquisition and customer retention to engage the right audiences for your objective.
  • ASIN-level promotions: Run promotions for specific products or product sets, in addition to offering discounts on your entire catalog. The respective audiences will be curated based on behavior for the selected items.
  • Access to audiences outside your brand: New audiences help you reach customers who haven’t discovered your brand yet.

With this update, Brand Tailored Promotions offers you a powerful tool to create more effective promotional campaigns to drive increased sales, improve customer retention, and foster brand loyalty.

Amazon Seller app enhancements

We’ve launched a new and improved version of the Amazon Seller app designed to enhance your mobile experience and streamline navigation. Here are the highlights:

  • The app now includes a single-tap bottom bar that allows quick access to frequently used features like orders, listings, and inventory, so you can conduct business-critical activities and take faster actions.
  • In response to your feedback on cluttered navigation, the app now features a more comprehensive menu with a search bar to facilitate easier access to different functions.
  • The app homepage is being redesigned to present key KPIs in a structured layout, and adding new metrics such as orders and Featured Offer percentage.

The Amazon Seller app is set to launch at least 20 new features this year, including integrations with Project Amelia and Seller Forums, to make it easier for sellers to connect with Amazon and each other on the go.

We built an action center to ensure you can quickly see and tackle the most important tasks.

We also created purpose-built work spaces that allow you to dive deep into the key aspects of your business—listings, inventory, orders, and more—without having to constantly jump between different pages. And we gave you the power to personalize your dashboard and choose the metrics that matter most.

Amazon Business bid adjustment and reporting for Sponsored Products

Reach and engage highly valuable business customers with the Amazon Business bid adjustment feature. You can use bid adjustments to increase your bids by up to 900% exclusively across all Amazon Business ad placements.

By increasing your bids for Amazon Business ad placements, you’re more likely to have your ads surface on Amazon Business and generate more impressions, clicks, and sales. On average, advertisers see a 2x to 3x higher return on ad spend on Amazon Business relative to the overall campaign performance.1

The Amazon Business bid adjustment can be used either in addition to other placement bid adjustments or by itself, and in both new and existing campaigns.

Amazon Business exclusive performance reporting will also be available to all Sponsored Products advertisers irrespective of their use of the Amazon Business bid adjustment. The report will show your Sponsored Products campaign performance on Amazon Business at the overall level across all placements and at the individual placement level. This data can be used to understand your overall campaign effectiveness on Amazon Business and guide your use of the Amazon Business bid adjustment.

Looking to recover value on your returned products? Then it’s time to meet two recommerce solutions that are now available in the US: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Grade and Resell and Returnless Resolutions.

You can use these solutions to clear out your returned inventory and offer customers quality, pre-owned products that don’t break the bank. With Grade and Resell, you can leverage Amazon’s grading process to resell eligible inventory as used products. With Returnless Resolutions, you can delight customers with a refund by allowing them to keep a low-cost product.
